About 7-Figure Millennials & Brandon Fong
(And Why It Matters For YOU)
Hi there!
On this page, I’m going to share an (embarrassing) story that I used to keep hidden from everyone.
But it’s important to tell because this story is really about YOU. You’ll see why in a minute.
Our story starts 13 years ago at Wisconsin Hills Middle School… in one of the wealthiest ZIP codes in the state.

It’s 11:33 in Mrs. Dentice’s 6th-grade classroom.
Everyone’s supposed to be working on our project about Egyptian mummification…

But instead, the entire class is staring at the clock, waiting for the bell to ring for lunch.
And when it does, all 27 students jump to their feet and make a beeline to the cafeteria.
That is, except for one kid.
With no smile on his face, a kid with goofy-looking glasses and a large gap in his front teeth packs his bag slowly… and reluctantly heads off to lunch.

And like every other day, it was my goal to get to lunch LAST.
Here’s why:
Like normal, I headed through the lunch line, collected my chicken nuggets from the hairnet-sporting lunch lady, and waited my turn in the checkout line.
After every one of my classmates checked out, my heart started beating faster…
I’d watch Kate stroll through the checkout line with her salad. Total: $5.25
Matt was next, with his usual two desserts. Total: $7.12
And then finally, it was my turn.
I’d set down my tray, and the lunch lady would type in my meal, and then the computer screen would show:
Brandon Fong
Free Lunch
Cost: $0.00

THAT is why I hated going to lunch.
Because all my affluent friends could see RIGHT on the screen that I didn’t have to pay for my food… because my family needed financial support.
It was a reminder that I didn’t belong…
That I wouldn’t even be in the #1 school district in the state if my parents hadn’t pulled some strings.
And above all… I hated seeing zeros next to my name.
That was 13 years ago.
To this day, I’ll never forget how painful and embarrassing that was.
Yet looking back on it today, I realize that it was BECAUSE of that experience that I became an entrepreneur.
I wanted to be in control of my income…
I wanted to MATTER… and make a positive impact in the world…
And above all, I wanted to create a different life for my future family.
Yet as a 12-year-old, I had no idea where to even start.
But it wasn’t until a few years later than I learned ONE (surprisingly simple) secret that gave me an unfair advantage and catapulted my success
(This is the part of the story that’s for YOU!)
The weird part?
I wouldn’t have discovered the secret if it weren’t for “The Sizzlin Ninja”.
What The "Sizzlin Ninja" Food Truck Can Teach You About Succeeding As An Entrepreneur
(Even When The Odds Are Stacked Against You)

My junior year of high school, I qualified to compete at a state-wide business plan competition.
I had this “brilliant” idea for a food truck called The Sizzlin Ninja (lol)… where the chefs would cook hibachi-style to draw crowds.
Either I WON, or I didn’t place at all.
Then, after what seemed like an eternity, the announcer called MY name and revealed that I was the state champion… qualifying for the national competition!
For the next two days, I was on the biggest high. I was heading to nationals.
But then our advisor called a meeting to explain the trip details to the qualifiers and my “high” came to an abrupt stop.
We were sitting in a conference room, and she slid a packet of paper to me across the table.
As I skimmed the document, I saw something at the bottom of the page that made my heart sink:

Trip Cost: $1,050.80
We couldn’t afford that.
I worked this hard… only to have to stop because the trip was too expensive.
I was crushed.
But then my dad came to the rescue.

Because he volunteered for an organization called Secure Futures, he knew the president and CEO, Brenda Campbell.
Brenda was very well connected and my dad made an introduction because she could maaaaybe support me to raise money to fund my trip…
Secretly, I was hoping Brenda would wave a magic wand, introduce me to her connections, and they’d donate to my travel fund to help me pay for the trip.
In other words, I wanted Brenda to “give me the fish.”
Instead, Brenda taught me how to fish.

Secretly, I was hoping Brenda would wave a magic wand, introduce me to her connections, and they’d donate to my travel fund to help me pay for the trip.
In other words, I wanted Brenda to “give me the fish.”
Instead, Brenda taught me how to fish.
Brenda taught me exactly how to develop meaningful relationships with high-level businesspeople…
… and she said one thing that changed my life forever.
She said:
“Brandon... if you ask for money, you’ll get advice.
But if you ask for advice, you’ll get money.”
The first time she said that to me, I thought it sounded nice… but didn’t really understand what it meant.
So like a good mentor, Brenda SHOWED me what it meant.
Even though I was only 17 years old…
Even though my email address was “asianninja221@gmail.com”…
And even though I had zero experience…
She introduced me to eight of her prized connections via email and taught me to do three things:
- Respond to each introduction as soon as possible with genuine gratitude
- Connect with them and ask for feedback on my business plan
- Thank them for their feedback, and ask if they would consider making a contribution to my travel fund

If you ask for money, you’ll get advice. If you ask for advice, you’ll get money.
So I followed her instructions exactly.
I met with Tom, a financial planner who gave me feedback on my financial projections.
Tom generously donated.
I met with Ben, an entrepreneur who gave me feedback on my presentation.
Ben generously donated.
I met with Joe, an investor who coached me on my stories.
Joe generously donated.
I couldn’t believe it. Almost 100% of the people I talked to not only helped to make my business plan better… but they also sponsored my trip.
But even after all of that, I was still short $500…
… and the deadline to pay for the trip was in a week.

Just when I thought I wouldn’t be able to hit my goal, Brenda introduced me to one more person — Kevin Kowalke.
As a real estate investor and founder of a successful mastermind, I was nervous to give my presentation to him.
After I finished and answered a few questions, he paused for a second and asked:
“How much do you have left to pay for the trip?”
I shared the exact amount, and he pulled out his checkbook and started writing…

Not wanting to be rude, I didn’t look at the amount but thanked him for his feedback and support.
As soon as I walked out the door to his office, I ripped open the check, and there it was:
A check for $500.
It was that moment when I realized that I finally was going to nationals.
Understand This And You Can
Solve Any Problem

The bad news = I didn’t place nationally.
But what was WAY more valuable was what I learned raising that money.
It was because of that trip that I learned that if you know how to develop meaningful relationships, you can solve any problem.
So from that point on, I made it my mission to master the art of connecting and developing relationships with people…
… and holy shit did it change my life.
But I’d never guess by how much.

Connecting With 7, 8, And 9 Figure Entrepreneurs & Building My Dream Lifestyle
After years of testing, tweaking, and improving my connection skills, I started getting really good at it.
I feel so incredibly blessed to say that BECAUSE of my connections some incredible things happened…
At age 20, I published my first book and received endorsements from Kevin Harrington, Original Shark on Shark Tank, and Aaron Kennedy, Founder of Noodles & Company.

By age 22, I was running the marketing operations and business development for a 7-figure online education company with over 250,000 students, learning directly from the founder, Jonathan Levi.

On top of that, Jonathan and I partnered up to launch my first ever online product that made $45,000 in the first week… and I made my first six-figures one year after I graduated college.
Then, representing Jonathan’s company, I joined Genius Network’s $25,000/yr group — the world’s highest end mastermind for 7, 8, and 9 figure entrepreneurs — and that opened the doors to meeting some incredible people:

AND, I was able to travel the world to 23 countries with my then girlfriend (now wife)… and even pay for my family to come visit us on a vacation to London…

… all before my 25th birthday.
Now:
My intention in sharing this story is not to brag, but to say that I truly believe that learning the power of connection will absolutely change your life.
In May 2020 (mid COVID) I left my position working with Jonathan to set out on my own journey…
And I created 7-Figure Millennials to share the incredible wisdom from the valuable relationships I’ve built over the years with you…
… while I build my own 7-figure business leveraging the power of connection and PRIORITIZING my happiness, health, and relationships.
